Broadcasters have been long been applauded for using programmes and characters to support issues affecting their audiences. Think: “Have you been affected by any of the issues in tonight’s programme?”
Let’s go one step further; ITV and Love Island producers are in a perfect position to use the show not only to promote ‘that bikini’ but also make themselves more relevant to the audience.
